Carol J. Wright 74, of Macomb passed away on November 8, 2021, at in the comfort of her home. She was born on December 30, 1946, in McDonough County to Henrietta (Gutfliesch) St. Clair and William Floyd St. Clair.

She is survived by her four children; Gary Amos Jr (Bobbijo) of Wall, SD, twin daughters Jana Lee Amos and Gina Lynn Amos of Macomb and John W. H. Wright of Colchester, grandchildren Heather Amos, Gary Amos III, DaVee Crowell and Kali Wright, and great-grandchildren; Logan and Evan Ash, Arabelle Jean Strader, Mabel Ward, Brooklyn Amos, and Remington McClain. One siter Janet Kay Phoenix and Family.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Jana Strader and her husband Monty Strader, one sister Teri Canavit Porter and her husband Harlin Porter; and tragicaMontyher granddaughter Remington Neeley and a special friend Phillip.

Carol attended Macomb High School where she was a member of the High School band and art club. She was one of the first member of the George Washington Club that was founded by the Union National Bank. She attended and worked at Western Illinois University, and University of Missouri at St. Louis. She retired after working 34 years at the University of Missouri- St. Louis as Director of Business and Fiscal Operations in Auxiliary Services.

Carol enjoyed surrounding herself with her family; interior decorating; landscaping, making yearly salsa with her daughter Gina and loved her family vacations with her son Gary and her son John. Carol traveled for a month to South America visiting Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and then vacationed in Mexico and Jamaica. She traveled extensively throughout the United States enjoying find dining, Broadway Shows, yachting in San Francisco Bay and white rafting in Wyoming. She enjoyed everyone she met on her travels and felt blessed to be able to enjoy so many beautiful cities and each of their special sights. Someone once said; “She lived a charmed live” and in many ways she did.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday November 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb. Memorial may be made to OSF Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com Wise Family Funeral Home in Roseville is in charge of arrangements.
