Deborah “Debe” K. Griffitts 63, of Prairie City passed away on November 21, 2021, in Macomb. She was born on January 3, 1958, in Avon IL, the daughter of Frank and Kathryn (Hornbaker) Havens. She married Gillis David Griffitts on February 17, 1979.

Debe is survived by her husband Dave of Prairie City, children; Kerastin (Dwayne) Walters of Canton, Kraig Griffitts of Berwick. Grandchildren; Austin McElhiney, Bradleigh Walters, Juliann Walters, Kylie, Lillyana, Braylon Griffitts, Mother, Kathryn Havens, Siblings; Barbara Jackson of Bushnell, David Havens of Prairie City, Brenda Josephson of Bushnell, Mark Havens of Greenbush, and Rodney Havens of Prairie City.

She was preceded in death by her Father.

She was a wonderful wife and mother, Debe loved her grandchildren so very much they were her world. She was loved by so many and never knew a stranger. Debe graduated in 1990 as LPN and Got her RN in 2012 and she worked in Cottage Hospital.

Cremation rites have been accorded and services will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com. Wise Family Funeral Home in Avon is in charge of the arrangements.
