Hannah S. Porter, 34, of rural Monmouth, IL passed away at 9:30 p.m. on November 6, 2021 in Monmouth, IL.

She was born May 26, 1987 in Monmouth, Il the daughter of Danny L. and Sondra K. (Payne) Porter. She was raised and educated in the Monmouth area graduating from Yorkwood High School in 2005.

Hannah worked a variety of places including Sirloin Stockade and Perkins both in Galesburg and most recently McDonalds in Monmouth.

She previously attended the former Harvest Bible Chapel currently known as Highpoint Church.  Like her father, she was an animal lover and had a soft heart for any animal in need.

The love of her life and her reason for being was her son, Kahen. She loved attending his many school and sporting events.  Hannah was also very involved with her nieces and nephews. Family was very important to Hannah.

Survivors include her son, Kahen Michael Porter; mother, Sondra Porter both of Monmouth, IL; her 3 sisters, Cari (Matt) Noll of Washington, IL, Josie (Justin) Thomas, Sarah (Marty) Wilson, both of Monmouth, IL; nieces and nephews, Brandon Shinn, Olivia Roden, Ivy Roden, Vivian Lair, Max Lair, Abel Wilson, Leah Wilson, Halee Porter, Payne Porter, Caleb Porter, Daniel Porter and Blaine Swensen; and her cat, Tallulah

She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Jesse W. Porter; nephews James D. Porter and Fox H. Roden.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a private family graveside service in the Alexis Cemetery at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be given to the Hannah Porter Memorial Fund or Western Illinois Animal Rescue and sent to the funeral home.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.  For more information or to leave an online condolence please visit, www.mcguireanddaviesfuneralhome.com.
