Preparation is underway for the Highpoint Church Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Monmouth American Legion. Dine-in, takeout, and delivery are all available for anyone to enjoy this year, says Pastor AJ Reynolds:
“We have three ways the people can actually receive meals. We have a dine-in option that runs from noon to 1:30 p.m. A delivery option that starts at 11:30 a.m. and we will actually deliver to your house, or a take-out option where you can pull up to the Legion at 11:45 a.m. all the way through 1 p.m. to be able to pick up your meals. Everything is at the American Legion, 1110 North 11th Street. We are excited to be able to provide this service to the community. If people are looking for that delivery, the number is 309-536-1271. If you call our team, even right now, all the way through the 24th, we will be able to take your order and make sure that we have a team out to deliver to you on Thanksgiving Day.”
Last year just over 600 Thanksgiving meals were served. The number again to call for delivery is 309-536-1271.
