The Greater Warren County United Way’s 2022 Campaign is currently underway. Executive Director Jeannie Weber shares what makes their campaign and the local United Way so unique:
“The thing that is most unique about our United Way is the fact that every single dollar that you donate to the campaign, goes directly back to the agencies and the programming that we are supporting. The reason we can do that is because in the early 80s, a gentleman named Lynn Everett, left a very large endowment because he at that point in time realized what our United Way was able to do. That provides all of the funding for our administrative fees, anything that we are doing above and beyond the campaign.”
Weber says the goal of the ongoing campaign is $200,000. Donations can be done online through PayPal or credit card on their website, http://wcunitedway.org. A social media option will also be available when searching Warren County United Way on Facebook.
