United Red Storm Boys Basketball Bounces Back from Holiday Tourney Title Loss

Share

The United Red Storm boys basketball team is off to a (13-2) start as they near the halfway point of their regular season schedule. That mark includes a 12-game win streak that was snapped in a United Holiday Tournament championship game loss to Ridgewood on Friday night. They started a new win streak last night, bouncing back to blowout previously undefeated Lewistown 45-28 in a game that really wasn’t even that close. The Red Storm led the 30-5 at the halftime break and emptied the bench midway through the 4th quarter with 20+ point lead. The (13-2) record this year, combined with a (14-2) record during the shortened spring season, gives United a (27-4) record since the end of the 2019-2020 season. That’s a mark that Red Storm head coach Doug Dennison can be proud of.
