71 county fair queens from across the state of Illinois competed in four categories; interview, evening gown, swimsuit, and speech and communications, at the 2022 Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant in Springfield this past weekend. Following preliminary competition on Saturday, the top 15 finalists were revealed, including Miss Knox County Taylor Main and Miss Warren County Rachel Williams. Final competition took place on Sunday where the top 15 answered on-stage questions before the crowning later that evening. Miss Perry County Addisyn Calloni was crowned the 2022 Miss Illinois County Fair Queen. Rounding out the top five were Miss McHenry County Grace Markovitz as 1st Runner Up, Miss Effingham County Kaylee Phillips was 2nd Runner Up, 3rd Runner Up was Miss Warren County Rachel Williams, and Miss Henry County Katie Noyd was 4th Runner Up. The new 2022 Queen and her court will reign over the Illinois State Fair and the Du Quoin State Fair, plus represent Illinois at various agriculture events, county fairs, and more throughout this upcoming year.
