Stronghurst Man Arrested for Leaving Scene of an Accident

Henderson County Chief Deputy Matthew Link releases the arrest of Brian Lee Kapsch, age: 51 of Stronghurst, IL.  On Monday, January, 10th, 2022 at 12:36PM, a Henderson County Sheriff Deputy was waved down by a citizen who reported a vehicle backed into another vehicle on Nichols St. in Stronghurst, IL and left the scene of the accident. After investigation, the Deputy located the suspect vehicle and the driver of the vehicle. The Deputy arrested Kapsch for Driving While License Suspended, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Kapsch was taken into custody, transported to the Henderson County Jail, where he was processed and then placed into jail. Driving While License Suspended is a misdemeanor charge and is a bondable offense. Kapsch is being held at the Henderson County Jail.

  ALL SUBJECTS ARE CONSIDERED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
