Warren County Remains at High Community Transmission; 172 New COVID Cases Reported

The Warren County Health Department is confirming 1 additional COVID-19 related death. The individual was
a male between the ages of 40-60. Our deepest sympathy goes out to family and friends. We continue to urge our
community to do what you can to slow the spread of the virus and to get vaccinated.

The Warren County Health Department is announcing 172 additional confirmed cases of coronavirus disease
(COVID-19), bringing the total cases to 3175. 2903 cases have had their symptoms resolve. Due to federal
privacy restrictions, release of any additional information is prohibited. To date there have been 72 confirmed
COVID-19 related deaths.

County level COVID-19 metrics for Week 52 from December 26,2021-January 1,2022 for Warren County
indicate we still have high community transmission. IDPH uses numerous indicators when determining
warning signs of increased risk in the county. A county is considered at a warning level when at least two of the
following metrics trigger a warning.

Warren County Health Department’s COVID-19 vaccination clinics for those ages 12+ will be held on
January 14th, 21st, and 28th from 9-12 by appointment only. Pediatric Pfizer clinics for ages 5-11 will be
January 19th from 2-5 by appointment only. The clinics will be located at the Warren County Health
