COVID-19 cases in Warren County are showing improvements since hitting a peak the second week of January. Health Department Administrator Jenna Link says as of Wednesday, 80 positive cases were reported, and ICU availability is slowly improving with being around 12%. At the end of January, 52% of the population of those five and older are fully vaccinated says Administrator Link:

“Those that are eligible, 5 and up right now, that have vaccine available, we are at 52% of our population fully vaccinated. If you start breaking that down by age groups, our 5 to 11 we are at 12% vaccinated, ages 12 to 17 we are at 39%, 18 to 64 is at 49%, and our 65 plus group is at 91% vaccinated.”

Upcoming COVID-19 vaccination and booster clinics at the Warren County Health Department are scheduled for February 11th, 18th, and 26th for those 12 and older. A pediatric Pfizer clinic for ages 5 to 11 will be held February 9th. Schedule an appointment by calling 309-734-0823.
