Last fall the United School District implemented solar energy at the North and West campuses and Superintendent Jeff Whitsitt reports savings are already kicking in:
“Even though they have impacted maybe the aesthetics at our campuses a little bit, we have had two months of electric bills since we have been up fully running and fully supported by our solar setups. Our bills are about a third of what they had been previously. The savings is kicking in and working for us there for sure.”
