Scholarship applications are now open through the Tri-County Cattlemen’s Association to high school seniors residing in Henderson, McDonough, or Warren Counties, reports Secretary Gayle Baker:

“Scholarships are available on our website. Go work on those. It is a 750 word essay and it is due March 15th. It is available to anybody who is going on to a secondary education and plans to stay rooted in ag or support ag in their future. Apply even if you are going into nursing. We do have some pretty open guidelines. Please apply. The deadline is March 15th.”

Meanwhile, the Tri-County Cattlemen have elected their 2025 Board of Directors, John Kane will serve as President, Thad Tharp as Treasurer, and Gayle will continue serving as Secretary.
