Lorena Kay Siverly, 76 formerly of Galva and Galesburg, died Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Kewanee Care, Kewanee, Illinois.

Kay was born January 5, 1946 in Macomb, Illinois the daughter of James Woodrow and Norma Jean (Arnold) Wilson.  She married Ronald Roy Siverly in East Moline, Illinois on July 25, 1965.  He preceded her in death on May 10, 2007.  Kay is survived by one son, Douglas (Margaret) Siverly of Shelton, Washington; one daughter, Erin Siverly of Galva, Illinois; and one brother, Steve Wilson of Augusta, Illinois.  Kay is also survived by four grandchildren, Jessica (Kevin) Pickett of Galva, Illinois, Ashley (Johnson) Nguyen of Houston, Texas, Steven Siverly of Houston, Texas, and Nicholas Siverly of Oregon; three great grandchildren, Evin and Gwendolyn Pickett and Aeon Nguyen; and her godson, Jordan Smith of Moline, Illinois.

Kay owned and operated Homestyle Designs, an upholstery and custom curtains company, with her husband Ron for many years.  She also worked in dietary for several years at Country View Nursing Home in Macomb, Illinois.  Kay enjoyed crocheting, working outdoors and gardening, but most of all she loved to be surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2022 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the funeral home.  Cremation will be accorded following services.  Memorials may be made to Beacon of Hope Hospice or the OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois.  Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com
