McDonough County Celebrating Dispatchers During National Telecommunicators Week

Share

This National Telecommunicators Week, McDonough County is celebrating the nine dispatchers within their combined center, says Sheriff Nicholas Petitgout:

“In McDonough County we have a combined communication center with Schuyler and McDonough County. They answer all the 911 calls for Schuyler, McDonough, and currently Henderson County. We handle the 911 cellphone calls for Henderson County. We have handled those for a very long time. We have nine dispatchers in our center. There are two of them there all the time.”

Sheriff Petitgout informs Henderson County will be consolidating their dispatch center with Hancock County in the near future.
