Nicholas Scott Gipe age 32, of Raritan IL, passed away April 7, 2022, at 12:55 a.m. He was born on November 27, 1989, the son of Ronald Gipe and Tammie Mesecher in Macomb, IL.

He is survived by his Father and Best Friend, Ronnie Gipe of Raritan, his Mother Tammie Gipe of Carthage, 3 brothers, Shane (Rachael) Gipe of Raritan, Eric (Amy) Gipe of Stronghurst, Ben (Kitty) Thompson of Roseville, and 1 sister, Jessica (Derek) Bocox of Roseville, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and nephew.

Nick was a member of the Raritan Fire Department. He loved being out on the 4-wheeler and side by side. He enjoyed being outdoors and shooting targets with family and friends. Nick had lived in Texas for 3 years.

Graveside Service will be held Tuesday April 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Raritan Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday April 11, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. where family will receive friends at the Wise Family Funeral Home in Roseville, IL.  Memorials may be made to the Raritan Fire Dept. and/or St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Online condolences may be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com . Wise Family Funeral Home in Roseville is in charge of the arrangements.
