City of Monmouth to Complete Euclid Reconstruction from 9th to 6th Street This Year

30 blocks of roadway in the City of Monmouth are slated for reconstruction bids this year. Of those blocks, the completion of Euclid from 9th to 6th Street is included, says Mayor Rod Davies:

“We’ve got the infrastructure done form 11th Street to 9th Street and that road is in pretty good shape. This will finish then between 9th and 6th because we have already done from 6th Street to 2nd Street with all new infrastructure, crosswalks, and ADA accessibility in that stretch. We will be doing the same between 9th and 6th and that will go to bid this summer, late summer for construction yet this year for the summer and fall.”

City Administrator Lew Steinbrecher added finances have been secured and the Euclid Project is fully funded.
