On Thursday, May 12th, the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce will host a local elected officials luncheon at the Lake Storey Pavilion, says Executive Director Pam Gaither:
“The panelists that will be there are the City of Galesburg Mayor Peter Schwartzman, the Chair of the Knox County Board Jared Hawkinson, and then the President of the 205 School Board Rod Scherpe. There will be some board members dispersed randomly at tables also for our roundtable afterwards. It is a really great opportunity for anyone interested to attend. You don’t have to be a member to attend this luncheon, but it is a really great opportunity to ask questions. We are fielding questions ahead of time as well.”
The panel discussion will be held from 11:30 to 1:00 with roundtables to follow.
