Galesburg Teacher Selected For International Program

This is National Teacher Appreciation Week and a Galesburg teacher is getting a special invitation.  Angel Peterson teaches third grade at Silas Willard Elementary and is being accepted to the Fulbright-Hayes Program.  The five-week course takes place in the Philippines where teachers from other nations will experience different cultures and curriculums.  Only 16 teachers across the nation were selected by the program from the application pool.  Peterson was the only selection from Illinois.
