Monmouth-Roseville Baseball Coach Jordan Ball Gaining Experience in Stressful Season

Share

The (3-13) Monmouth-Roseville Titan baseball team has played their fair share of close games this season. Of the 16 games the Titans have played so far this season, half of them have been decided by 2 runs or less. Three have went to extra innings and three have ended in walk-off fashion. The young Titans are (2-6) in those 8 close games. Monmouth-Roseville is a big-hit away in any of those six losses from possibly being a .500 ballclub. The Titans are young at the head coaching position, as well. Jordan Ball just completed his own playing career a year ago, playing for and graduating from Monmouth College last spring. Coach Ball says he’s learning the coaching business just as his one-senior-only ballclub is learning the varsity game, too.

On Saturday morning, the Titans go to United High School for the cross-town classic against the Red Storm.
