Regional Office of Education #33 to Hold Open House

Share

The Regional Office of Education #33 will host an Open House on May 14th from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at our 932 Harrison Street office in Galesburg. We invite the four counties of Henderson, Knox, Mercer, and Warren to visit our new location, formerly Lincoln Center: Galesburg District Office & Bright Futures Preschool. Regional Superintendent Jodi Scott and ROE #33 are excited to bring our communities behind the scenes to view the programs and services we provide and to see our new working space.

We will have a leadership meet and greet with Regional Superintendent Jodi Scott and Assistant Regional Superintendent Lori Loving, simulation scenarios that showcase our programs and services, as well as building tours, car seat safety check demonstrations, and an opportunity to meet our staff. Staff will be available throughout the night to answer questions, teach how our programs affect the community, and showcase some of our learning tools.

ROE #33 has designed simulation scenarios that will take you step by step through the process of working with the ROE, and we believe this will be the perfect way to see how our programs and services intertwine and work collaboratively. With our staff working out of a centralized location, our mission to serve schools and communities has grown stronger and increased tremendously.

The Regional Office of Education is an intermediate agency between the Illinois State Board of Education and local school districts. ROE #33 works with nine districts across the four counties: Henderson, Knox, Mercer, and Warren. We have eight programs and nine different services, with over 280 employees throughout the four counties. These programs and services can be anything from parenting classes and professional development for area educators to bus driver training, fingerprinting, and much more.

Please join us on May 14th from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM for this opportunity to see your Regional Office of Education #33 and the staff and tools that make our work possible.
