Share

Next weekend the Monmouth-Roseville High School Drama Club will present ‘Almost, Maine,’ a play by John Cariani. Taking the stage as “Shelly,” M-R Senior Ricky Warren has a sneak preview:

“Almost, Maine is a small town up in northern Maine, which is later explained that it is so out of reach that is doesn’t even reach your map, you are just almost; you are not quite there yet. It is about; there is one night and all these characters are meeting people, meeting new people, or talking to older friends and they are falling in love with each other or they are falling out of love with each other, maybe they are meeting someone new and realizing they like them or they don’t like them. You get to watch all these stories and see how they get to play out in the end. Then when you are done with that story, you just get to move onto a new one and see what happens with someone else.”

The production will be held Friday, May 20th at 7 pm and Sunday, May 22nd at 2 pm inside the Monmouth-Roseville High School Auditorium. Tickets are available at the door.
