Monmouth-Roseville Softball Hopes to Use Final Regular Season Week to Prepare for the IHSA Playoffs

Despite the cold, rainy weather for the past week, the Monmouth-Roseville softball team somehow squeezed in ten games in the past 10 days. Included in that stretch was a pair of games against the #1 ranked and undefeated Rockridge and a game against (15-4) Macomb. The Titans were (3-7) in those 10 games, beating West Prairie 5-0, Spring Valley Hall 12-1 and walking-off Orion 11-10 on senior night, before losing the second game of the double header. Monmouth-Roseville actually trailed 4-0 early in the game one win over Orion. Titan Head coach Jarrod Hippen is happy with the way his players have taken pride in the program and are winning games now that might not have been won in past years of the program.
