United School District Conducting Overhaul of Board Policies

Over the course of the spring, the United School District has been conducting an overhaul of their board policies and are down to the last section, Section 6, addressing students and curriculum. When it comes to curriculum, the State of Illinois will require definitive mandated units of study; however, Superintendent Jeff Whitsitt says the schools do not have to adopt them all:

Section 6 of United’s policy manual is expected to be completed by August.
