This Saturday, July 30th, the County Line Diner staff and members of the community are hosting a benefit for Missy Livermore and her family, shares County Line Owner Doug Smith:
“Missi Livermore, which some people form the Kirkwood area may know her as Missi LaFever, she has been battling MS for twenty plus years and she just got diagnosed with mesothelioma. She has been a big part of the diner even before I had it when Cindy Adkisson was running it. That is one of those families’ that is there every day, but the girls there at the diner decided to do a benefit for her. It is a free will donation. There is going to be 50/50 drawings, silent auctions, and I think we even have a band. We will also have t-shirts at the door.”
Saturday’s event will be held from 11 am to 4 pm at the St. Patrick’s Community Center outside of Raritan. More details can be found on the County Line Diner’s Facebook page.
