Jamieson Center Takes Next Step in Vision for KC Hall

Share

Bids are out for renovations at the KC Hall in Monmouth. The Jamieson Community Center has plans to utilize the building for assisting the local community with childcare needs. Executive Director Nancy Mowen explains the vision for the space:

“For people that have been in there, there was a kitchen area, bar area, a women’s and men’s restroom, and then a big open space. We are going to revamp all of that to set up classrooms, the bathrooms will need to be completely renovated, and they are not ADA compliant at this point. Really, we spent a lot of time in planning and involved a lot of people and we are ready to move forward.”

Bids are due by August 5th.
