The Monmouth Little Lions Baseball League will start its end-of-the-season league tournament tomorrow night at Harmon Park in Monmouth. It will be a double elimination format with two games a night being played on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week. The championship of both the minor and major leagues will be played next Tuesday, with the if-necessary games being played on Wednesday.
Tuesday night’s first round games feature Kehoe Eye Care taking on Midwest Bank in the minor league game at 5:30, followed by the major league match up between Stanton Insurance and Stombaugh Law at 7:30. The winners will move on to take on the top-seeds on Wednesday night. The top seed in the minor league is Whitman Law Office and in the major league, it’s Leary’s Construction.
