Rebecca S. Moore, 70, of Monmouth, Il passed away at 12:29 am, Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL

Becky was born December 29, 1951 in Burlington, IA, the daughter of Robert and Virginia (Purdum) Case.  She was raised and educated in Kansas before moving to Monmouth during her Freshman year. She graduated from Monmouth High School in 1970.

Becky married Christopher W. Moore in Monmouth, Il on October 30, 1971 and he survives.

While in high school Becky worked for Benner-Tea (Giant Foods) for a few years.  She was a stay-at-home Mom while raising her children before starting their family owned and operated business, Country Keepsakes & Moore which specialized in art and home decor.  Becky later expanded into Galesburg, Bloomington and Monmouth for 12 years.  She later worked at Monmouth Trust and Savings, Wells Fargo and then Midwest Bank starting out as a teller, personal banker and supervisor before retiring.

She was a member of the Monmouth United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed painting, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband; son, Justin Moore of Galesburg, IL and her daughter, Nichole (Dan) McQueen of Colorado Springs, CO; 3 grandchildren, Machaella Moore, Rebecca Barraza and Jason Barraza; her brother, Timothy Case of Vermont.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Following Becky’s wishes cremation has been accorded.  No visitation or services are planned at this time.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.  For more information or to leave an online condolence please visit, www.mcguireanddaviesfuneralhome.com
