Wanda Lea Collier, 90, of Galesburg, Illinois died peacefully at her daughter’s home in Oneida, Illinois on Friday, August 26, 2022.

Wanda was born November 3, 1931 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Titus J. and Frieda L. (Phillips) Pujol.  She graduated from Macon High School in Macon, Illinois in 1948.  Later that year, on September 12, 1948 Wanda married Bill F. Collier in Decatur, Illinois.  Wanda stayed home and raised their three children, Brad, Vicki, and Cindi.  After moving to Galesburg, Wanda worked for a time at Little King Restaurant.  She was an avid quilter for many years and was a long-time member of Lake Bracken Country Club.

Wanda is survived by her three children, Brad (Robin) Collier of Galesburg, Illinois, Dan (Vicki) Gabriel of Oneida, Illinois, and Cindi Peck of Galesburg, Illinois.  Along with her three children, Wanda leaves nine grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.  Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bill on June 22, 2003; a daughter-in-law, Carol; a son-in-law, Jon; and her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Ernice Pujol.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg, Illinois.  Chaplain Jordan Knight will officiate.  No visitation is planned.  Memorial contributions may be directed towards Knox County Humane Society or Rock Steady Boxing, Galesburg.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg, Illinois.  Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com
