IHSAA is Reviewing a Tense High School Football Game

Share

The Iowa High School Association is reviewing what happened at a high school football game last week. West Des Moines Dowling beat visiting Iowa City High 34-nothing. During the game, four personal fouls were called, one player was ejected, and another is being accused of hurting an opponent on purpose. Last year, City High beat Dowling on a trick play in the last couple minutes of the game and officials think it lead to tension. Monday’s junior varsity game between Dowling and City High was canceled due incidents during the varsity game.
