Bethany Giving Tree Begins November 1

Share

Western Illinois University, in cooperation with Bethany for Children & Families, is sponsoring a Giving Tree on the Quad Cities campus in Riverfront Hall from Tuesday, Nov. 1-Sunday, Dec. 10.

As the annual holiday season approaches, peers from WIU, WQPT and the Quad Cities community will be able to select an ornament from the tree to donate gifts to a child who otherwise might not receive any.

Those who wish to participate should visit the tree located outside of Student Services in Riverfront Hall and return new, unwrapped gifts to the WIU-QC Student Services desk by 4 p.m. Dec. 10. Participating individuals are asked to not spend over $30 per gift, but multiple gifts can be purchased per ornament.

For more information, contact Lexi Yoggerst at aj-yoggerst@wiu.edu or WIU-QC Student Services at (309) 762-9080.
