West Central Heat Football Hopes to Honor Talented Senior Class with Senior Night Win

The state ranked West Central 8-man football team had a big test this past weekend, as they went to Milledgeville to take on the also state ranked Missiles. The Heat responded to the biggest challenge of their season so far, with a statement win by a score of 64-36. Seniors Kaiden Droste and Mason Carnes shined for West Central as they ran for a combined 497 yards and 8 touchdowns on offense. West Central will hold their senior night ceremony on Saturday night before their game against Galva. Among the many fall sports that will be honored, many Heat football players will be recognized in their final regular season home game. This senior group has a combined record of (21-3) in the last two and a half seasons so far. Heat Head Coach, Jason Kirby, highlighted the leadership of the many seniors on his football team, during his WRAM morning show interview on Wednesday morning.

West Central will face off against 2-5 Galva in the game following their senior night ceremony. They then finish the season on the road with another ranked matc hup against the 6-1 Amboy/Lamoile/Ohio 8-man coop.
