Betty Barbara Wiecking, 93, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Roseville Rehabilitation & Health Care. She was born December 17, 1928 in Belleville, IL, the daughter of Floyd & Mabel Wilderman. She married Russell Oscar Wiecking on October 18, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1987. Also preceding her in death; parents Floyd & Mabel Wilderman and brother Malburn Wilderman.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; John Tracy (Carol) Wiecking of Bradenton, FL, Tammy (Dennis) Powers of Roseville, IL; grandchildren Michael (Elise) Powers, John Powers, great-grandchildren Ella Powers and Mila Powers.

She worked several jobs in her lifetime, most notably she worked in dietary services at Belleville Area College for 25 years.

She was dearly loved by her family, her church friends at Roseville United Methodist Church and the wonderful staff at Roseville Rehabilitation & Health Care. 

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family graveside service will be held at a future date. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association and left in the care of the funeral home. Wise Family Funeral Home, Roseville, is handling the arrangements.
