Jake Sottos Heads into Second Season as Monmouth-Roseville Titan Boys Basketball Coach

The Monmouth-Roseville boys basketball season gets started next week with this year’s Orion Tip-Off classic on Monday November 21st. Monmouth-Roseville is looking to continue to build their basketball program under 2nd year Head Coach Jake Sottos. Sottos in his first year as coach of the varsity squad lead the team to an 18-12 record and playoff win over Sherrard, before falling to Knoxville 44-39 in the next game of regionals.
The Titans lost the bulk of their scoring from last season’s team but do return five points a game from CJ Johnson and six points a game from Jerome Jackson. Sottos, appearing on the WRAM morning show, detailed his roster’s makeup coming into this season after losing several senior starters from last year.
