Bonnie S. Fox, 75, of Oquawka, IL, passed away at 11:23 a.m., Sunday, January 8, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on March 20, 1947 in Oquawka, IL, the daughter of Paul and Velma (Johnston) Eggleston.  Bonnie was raised and educated in Oquawka. 

Bonnie married Wayne Fox in July of 1998 in Oquawka, IL, he survives. 

Bonnie drove a semi for Munson Transportation in Monmouth for 10 years.  She later was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family.  Bonnie enjoyed playing games online, especially Farmville.  She was an avid pie baker.  Bonnie cared for others and was always helping plan benefits and events in the community.  Most of all, she loved to spend time with her cats.

Surviving Bonnie is her husband, Wayne Fox of Oquawka, IL; her children, Charles Nylin Cedar Falls, IA, Robert “Bob” Nylin of Burlington, IA, Charlene (Mohamad) Al-Wazzan of Kuwait City, Kuwait, Mike Ripple of Burlington, IA, Mary (Dale) Polson of Burlington, IA; her grandchildren, Christopher (Noor) Baker, Ali Al-Wazzan, Jassim (Fatima) Al-Wazzan, Hussein Al-Wazzan, Harlow Ripple, Katlyn Watkinson, Katherine (Kirk) Schneden, John Watkinson, Ella Watkinson; her great grandchildren, Elsie Range, Finley Schneden, Abdullah Baker, Jena Baker, Muhammed Al-Wazzan, Amna Al-Wazzan.  Also surviving is her cousin, Slim (Barb) McGann, sister-in-law, Carolyn Fox of Fairmount, IN; niece, Brenda (George) Olson of Oquawka, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Larry Jern and David Eggleston; her sister, Demaris Johnston; niece, Diane Johnson.       

A Celebration of life will be at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Mama’s Place (1002 Seventh St, Oquawka, IL 61469).  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorials can be made to the Henderson County Humane Society or the Bonnie Fox Memorial Fund.
