Monmouth-Roseville Titan Girls Basketball Heading into Important Stretch of TRAC West Division Schedule

Share

The Monmouth-Roseville girls varsity basketball team continues their long stretch of road conference games this week. The Titans were in action throughout the past week including a 48-22 win at Erie-Prophetstown last Thursday, a 47-35 home loss to state ranked PORTA/AC Central on Saturday afternoon, then a 51-28 victory in a Three-Rivers conference crossover match at Kewanee.

The next stretch of road games will be very pivotal for Monmouth-Roseville, as they take on Rockridge tomorrow night, then do battle with Morrison on Monday, and Sherrard next Thursday. The results of these games will be instrumental in deciding the TRAC-West division, and seeding for the upcoming regional tournament in February. Head Coach Scott Weber says that the team will be ready for the challenge.

The Lady Titans currently sit at 19-5 overall, and is half game behind Sherrrd for first place in the TRAC-West at 7-1. Sherrard checks in at (8-1) after their win over Rockridge on Monday. Due to low roster numbers in the Rockridge girls basketball program, Monmouth-Roseville’s game tomorrow night against the Rockets will tip-off at 5:30, with a short JV contest following.
