City of Monmouth Approves Contract Extension with Yard Waste Services

Share

The Monmouth City Council has approved a three-year extension of their yard waste contract with A&G Hauling says Mayor Rod Davies:

“The A&G Hauling is our current contractor and they agreed to extend their contract for three years. That period will be from April 1st 2023 through March 31st 2026. That is a good service and usually runs to the end of November and I think the last several years we have extended that for two weeks because the weather was good enough. Leaves were late and people were still cleaning up their yards and so we extended that to December 15th; that is an option in that contract.”

Council also approved a demolition bid of $3,242 from Maple City Construction for 514 South C Street.
