Michael L. Talley,63, of Galesburg, Il, passed away at 1:55 pm, Monday, February 20, 2023 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

Mike was born June 12, 1959 in Monmouth, IL the son of John and Helen (Bader) Talley.  He was raised and educated in Monmouth.

Mike married Robin Snicker in Monmouth.  He later married Sandy Hutchins on April 17, 1992 in Las Vegas, NV and she survives.

Mike was an auto mechanic in Milwaukee, WI for 18 years.

He liked Ford Trucks, the Dallas Cowboys and beer.  He was very witty and had a great sense of humor and enjoyed a good laugh. He loved his dogs.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy Talley of Galesburg; his children, Holly Scanlon and Zack Talley; grandchildren; his sister, Kathy (Bobby) Lamb; his brother, Curt Byland both of Galesburg; brother-in-law, Frank Hardwick of TX; several niece and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters, Dixie Stull, Linda Hardwick, Debbie Stokes and Beverly Nelson; and 1 brother, John Talley, Sr.

Cremation has been accorded.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Mike Talley Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home.
