Monmouth-Roseville Girls Basketball Season Filled with Many Highlights

Share

The Monmouth-Roseville girls basketball season came to a close last night in the Class 2A sectional semifinals at Rockridge High School. The Titans battled back and fourth with a talented Deer Creek Mackinaw team that won 28 games up to that point, but ultimately fell short by the final score of 64-50. The Lady Titans now reflect on what has been a historic season for the program, as they captured the first regional title in M-R girls basketball history, and the most wins in a single season in program history with 26. Head Coach Scott Weber says that the fight that the girls showed in last nights game, is an example of the passion and effort they have shown all season.
