The winter sports season is winding down at Monmouth-Roseville High School, which means the stakes are getting even higher for the boys and girls basketball programs. The boys Titans finish the regular season this Wednesday with a home game at the Shoebox at Monmouth-Roseville against long time rival Macomb. Monmouth-Roseville currently sits at 14-15 on the season, and has been paired against the Canton Little Giants for their home regional match on Saturday. For the Lady Titans, they begin their regional campaign tonight at Bureau Valley High School taking on the Red Devils of Spring Valley Hall. Athletic Director at Monmouth-Roseville Jeremy Adolphson has more about the season the girls squad has had, and their big regional match up Monday night.

If the Monmouth-Roseville girls can come away with a win tonight and Thursday night, it would be the first regional title in the programs history. You can hear Monday’s regional quarterfinal game between the Lady Titans and fellow Three Rivers Conference member, albeit different divisions, Spring Valley Hall live on AM 1330/FM 94.1 WRAM, or online at radiomonmouth.com. Tip-off for the game is scheduled for 7:30, so the pregame show will hit the air at around 7:10. Hall brings in an overall record of (18-14) after beating Kewanee 52-37 in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
