Here’s the WMOI/WRAM Athletes of the Week for the week ending September 14th, 2025:
The Monmouth-Roseville Titan Athlete of the Week is senior boys soccer player, Cee Sarcomo. Cee pulled off a hat trick, plus one, in a win over Princeton. Along with those four goals, he also had a goal late in the Titan’s win against Canton. Cee’s five goals led the Titans in scoring for the week and added to his team-leading season total.
The United Red Storm Athlete of the Week is freshman girls swimmer, Izzy Feehan. Izzy is a part of the United/Galesburg/Monmouth-Roseville co-op. Last week, she placed in the top-3 of six races in a pair of dual meets. Even more impressive is the fact that it was in five different events.
The West Central Heat Athlete of the Week is junior boys golfer, Aiden Todd. Aiden was the medalist at two meets last week. Against Bureau Valley, he shot an amazing 1-under par 34. Later in the week, Aiden posted a 38 at difficult Midland Golf Course. He seems to be heating up as the postseason nears.
The Galesburg Silver Streak Athlete of the Week is senior girls golfer, Addi Dulcie. It was a busy, but successful, week for Addi. She participated in four events in a span four days, finishing in the top-3 in every meet. The highlight for Addi was a 3rd place finish in the Geneseo Invitational at TPC Deere Run, where her 95 was the 3rd best individual score of the tournament.
The Abingdon-Avon Tornado Athlete of the Week is senior soccer player, Kolbe Hightower. Kolbe was a big part of his team’s 2nd place finish in the Hoopeston Tournament. He scored a hat trick in a win over Monticello, giving him four total goals in the tourney. It was his second 3-goal match of the week, as he scored all three goals in a 3-2 victory over Peoria Manual earlier in the week.
