The Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education has approved several projects within the district to be completed in the months ahead and throughout the summer, shares Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“The board approved a track resurfacing project where they are going to repair some low spots and we are going to move our existing high jump pad and install an IHSA compliant high jump pad where we will center it on the south goal post. The board approved a roof project at Central. Of course I have already reported on the high school HVAC project, which is currently starting; we have to do some asbestos abatement. We are also remodeling high school bathrooms over the summer; in addition, to the tile projects at Lincoln and the Junior High.”

Superintendent Fletcher also reported the Monmouth Police Department performed a safety audit for the district and recommended adding security cameras in the pick-up and drop-off locations at Harding and Lincoln, plus the High School parking lot.
