The United high school boys varsity basketball season came to a close this past weekend with a loss in the first round of regionals to a red hot Abingdon-Avon team that has won their last 11 of 16 games. Despite the quick end to a tough season for the Red Storm, Head Coach Doug Dennison says the program is heading in a positive direction because of the large number of youth programs in the United district.
The Red Storm officially end the season with an overall record of 14-18, and 5-6 record in Lincoln Trail Conference play. They now look to focus on developing their young talent, as they graduate 6 Seniors from the team.
