United Center concession workers could stage another one-day strike just before today’s Big Ten basketball tournament. These residents support the union’s effort.

“They feel like they are not getting paid what they deserve. Let them go on strike. That’s what a union does to make people’s lives better.”

Talks between the union and United Center food and beverage provider Compass Levy broke down last night. On Sunday, concession workers held a one-day strike before a Bulls game. The sticking points are better healthcare and pension benefits.
