County Highway 10 Bridge in Knox County to Close for Reconstruction

On Monday, March 6, 2023, the Knox County Highway Department will be closing the bridge carrying County Highway 10 over the BNSF classification yard. The marked detour is shown below. Brandt Construction, Milan, IL, will be completing the $5,031,097 bridge rehabilitation project. The project is being funded by the Illinois Commerce Commission and Knox County. The current bridge was constructed in 1985. The bridge is expected to be closed for 6 to 7 months.
