On Wednesday, April 5th, the Carl Sandburg College Career Expo will be held in the gymnasium inside Building F on the campus in Galesburg. Coordinator of Career Development Tracy Engstrom advises attendees to bring a resume as more than 55 businesses will be participating:

“Right now we have almost 55 businesses signed up to participate, which is great. I am very pleased this year with the wide variety, we have anywhere from manufacturing, law enforcement, banking, we have military, we have health care, there is architecture this year, so we have a wide variety of everybody attending. This is open to not only students, but free to community members as well. It is very rare that you are going to find that many employers under one roof. I would love to everybody bring a resume with them, come professionally dressed, employers always love to see that aspect, and don’t be afraid to shake hands. Don’t be afraid to give that eye contact. Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself and maybe tell employers what you can do for them.”

Sandburg’s Career Expo will be held from 11 am to 1 pm.
