The IHSA’s current longest winning streak is now at 70 games. It belongs to the Rockridge softball team. They broke the IHSA softball winning streak record Wednesday—which had belonged to Casey-Westfield from the 1997 and 1998 seasons. John Nelson is head softball coach at Rockridge.

In the 70 game winning streak, Rockridge has won back to back Class 2A state titles.
