With the possibility of severe weather, here are a few reminders about outdoor warning sirens for Warren County residents.

-Siren activation is not limited to tornados, sirens are also activated for things like large hail and dangerous winds.

-Sirens are not always activated for the entire county, they’re normally activated where the danger is anticipated.

-Sirens are meant to alert people outside of danger, they are not meant to alert people inside buildings.

Sirens are only one part of the warning system. Have other ways to receive notifications such as a NOAA Weather Radio, media, or on your phone.
