Monmouth College junior Caleb Toberman (Clifton, Illinois) qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the weight throw. His throw of 18.70m on Friday at the Platteville Last Chance Qualifier put him in the 13th spot of the 20 qualifiers.

The NCAA Indoor Championships are March 10-11 in Birmingham, Alabama, hosted by Birmingham Southern College. The weight throw is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, one of the first events of the Championships. Toberman is the Scots lone qualifier for the Indoor Championships as weight throw teammate Shane Anderson (Lisle, Illinois) finished 21st, missing out by one spot.
