The Salvation Army 360 Life Centers offers a variety of services locally; including utility and rent assistance, meal and food service programs, housing and shelter, and even support in the event of a house fire or natural disaster in Knox and Warren Counties, explains Director of Operations Meghan Templeton:
“The Emergency Disaster Services is what the Salvation Army calls their effort to help after a fire or natural disaster. We try to assist families after a fire, usually that looks like a hotel room or a voucher to go to the Salvation Army Thrift Store and purchase a new bed or other household supplies. We offer support to families after fires and that is something that in Warren County we can help with too. Even though we don’t have an office here, if someone in Warren County experienced a house fire, they can call us and we will assist any way we are able.”
The Salvation Army 360 Life Center is located at 510 North Kellogg Street in Galesburg or can be reached at 309-342-9168.
