Monmouth-Roseville Softball Knows There is No Easy Game in the Three Rivers Conference.

The Monmouth-Roseville high school softball team is scheduled to be back in Three Rivers Conference West Division action tonight at Morrison, however with thunderstorms raining down on the West Central Illinois area, the status of that game is currently up in the air. If the game does go on as planned, it gives the Titans an opportunity to get their first win in TRAC-West play, against a very solid 8-5 Morrison team. The toughness of the conference is not unknown to M-R Head Coach Jarrod Hippen, as he says “there is no cupcake team” in the west division.

Monmouth-Roseville currently sits at 4-9 overall on the season, and 0-5 in Three Rivers Conference play. The Titans met Morrison on Monday of this week, dropping that game 13-3. Monmouth-Roseville will look to get their revenge tonight, when first pitch is thrown at 4:30(weather permitting).
